How does one explore a subject like flowers when perhaps it has been done too numerous times?

I would have to admit the color palette I've chosen here was very much inspired by Joyce Tenneson's work.

As it turns out, she also has a body of work on flowers but it was really Imogen Cunningham's Flora that convinced me of the vast potential of the subject.
